Emma catches her boyfriend with her best friend and her life comes apart in a night. A secret rebound, a positive test and a school running on lies turn the fallout into something much larger than a break-up, and the series has thirty-four episodes to let it grow.

What you actually get

Thirty-four episodes, numbered one to thirty-four with no gaps. That is more than twice the length of anything else in the catalogue: the next longest runs stop at fifteen, and 99 of the 110 series stop at five. At one to two minutes an episode the whole run is roughly fifty minutes, which makes it the only CandyShorts series that asks for an evening rather than a sitting.

Why the length matters

Everything else in this catalogue is built on a premise. This one is built on a story. The betrayal is the first act rather than the whole idea, and the series keeps moving after it, turning more than once. If the five-episode format has felt thin to you, this is the series to test that feeling against.

How explicit it gets

We rate it 4 out of 5, very explicit. Full nudity and sex, spread across a much longer run, so the ratio of story to sex is higher here than anywhere else on Candy Shorts. The two free episodes are 6 percent of the run and the slowest part of it; they tell you about the premise and almost nothing about the rating.

Our take

More than twice the length of any other series and the only one long enough to call a season. Whether it sustains that length is arguable; that it is the most ambitious thing on Candy Shorts is not.

How to find it

In the Shorts grid on candy.ai it is listed by title, under the Taboo tag, and its address matches the title too. Nothing about it is confusing to link to or look up.

The first two episodes are free with a Candy AI account. The remaining 32 need a Candy AI subscription, from $3.99 a month on the annual plan. The free access page has every plan.
