A series launches with about five episodes, and for most that is where it stays: 99 of the 110 series run exactly five. Four have grown to fifteen. One, My Bestie Betrayed Me, runs to thirty-four, more than double the next longest and the only series in the catalogue long enough to call a season.
Every Candy Shorts episode is one to two minutes, numbered and meant to be watched in order. They are chapters with a cliffhanger, not variations on a scene, so skipping ahead costs you more than it would on a clip site. Playback is vertical and full-screen inside Candy AI, with no download and no offline mode on any plan. Older episodes stay up when new ones arrive, and the first two episodes stay free.

They are not two products, and there is nothing to sign up for twice. Candy AI is the platform: companions you chat with, images and video you generate, an account you log into. Shorts is one entry in that account's menu, the finished series you sit back and watch. If you already have a Candy AI account, Shorts is already there. If you do not, a free one is enough to start.
The names cause most of the confusion. The product surface is candyshorts.com, the platform is candy.ai, and Candy Shorts, CandyShorts and Candy AI Shorts all mean the same thing. We use all three because people search all three.

Nothing is filmed. Most casts are fictional, AI-generated characters. A Candy Creators line, Bonnie Blue is My Stepsister among them, uses a real performer's licensed likeness, generated rather than recorded.
